DIARY
OF A GIRL-NEXT-DOOR HEAVY METAL NOVELIST

Today was spent working
on press releases. I'm waiting for the ISBN code (the number on the
back of books that tells retailers who the publisher is) to be assigned
to my little dandy so I can insert it into my letters. Otherwise, I
think the releases are pretty sexy.
Speaking
of which... Demi Moore is kinda hot, right?

If I thought my press releases were sexy yesterday, they are on fire
tonight. I can't help it; I'm going to be an enormously successful writer.
It's in my blood. It's a part of me, just like rock & roll. I'd
rather be a beach bum or Madame Curie, but no. I'm on a path toward
fame, fortune and fulfillment, and I have to make peace with that fact.
F anyone who doesn't believe.
And Ashton?
What do we think of him? Kinda hot, right? I wouldn't have thought so,
but probably because I never took the time to notice.
But anyway, back to the
point. What do successful entrepreneurs have that I don't have? Scorching
hot banner ads, that's what. I think it's time I had some of those banner
ad thingies. Enter my artist friend, Jeff, who designed the sizzlingly
cool (editorial interruption: see how I mixed the metaphors
there? that's what writers do. maybe I should be a full-time writer.
hmm.) cover for Won't Get Fooled Again.

I made a lunch appointment with my artist friend Jeff. We're going to
talk banner ads tomorrow. I'm thinking razzledazzlesexyhot. Perhaps
he has another vision, but I hope not.

Banner ads are on the way.
AND. SO. IS. MY. BOOK.
400 copies of Won't Get
Fooled Again are somewhere between Utah and Pennsylvania. You'll
be able to order a copy probably within a week.
In the meantime, feel free
to check out other
books in the same genre. Or explore the KISS
Nation website. They are totally hot and hard at work on the most
unforgettable expo performance ever.

Who's my favorite rock & roll journalist? Dave Marsh from Rolling
Stone? Hell no. I can't stand that KISS-hating jerk (unless he wants
to write about me, in which case I'll delete this entry and you'll all
have to keep my insults a secret. Deal?). Carla DiFonzo is the coolest
writer I know. I contacted her tonight about a possible follow-up to
the article she
wrote a couple years ago, and she replied in the affirmative right away.
Local stardom, here I come.
Speaking of secrets, KISS
Nation project work is only a few days away, and if all goes well,
it won't have to be a secret anymore. If Dave Marsh were even half a
man, he'd be camped out here in anticipation.

100 copies of Won't Get Fooled Again arrived in California yesterday
(to be listed on an online bookstore). My 400 aren't here yet, but I
suspect they'll hit town on Monday. I've already started getting orders
from people. Man, this is cool. (continue)
