Biography A confessed vagabond, Colette Shaw was born in New York State and moved frequently throughout the U.S. during her career in higher education. She earned a B.A. in Communications and a Masters in College Student Personnel, then went on to specialize in teaching critical thinking and cognitive development in the liberal arts setting. Gifted with the names of two influential writers, Shaw grew up with a vivid imagination and a secret life as the girl-next-door who fantasized about heavy metal musicians. Through her writing, she explores imaginary worlds in which normal people must confront adversity and make peace with their true selves. "I write about what KISS fans already understand," says Shaw. "Pursuing our dreams while allowing music to inspire us. Won't Get Fooled Again just adds the element of rock 'n' roll fantasy that few of us experience in our daily lives." |
