The Romance Writer Finds Her Heart I must confess that I didn't actually believe in the kind
of romances I created on paper. Nice guys and idyllic relationships were
something that either didn't exist or (I hate to admit) interfered with
my careeer. I allowed Suzanne Curtis, the lead character of Won't Get
Fooled Again to see whether she could balance her workaholic life
with an unlikely love, but I never gave myself the same chance. (ed.) What Shaw didn't realize was that the same year her book was released, she would not only meet the love of her life, but she would return to her roots in Upstate New York to see the romance through to its happy ending! I wouldn't have believed my life could be more full, but
I am truly living a dream. I fell in love with a great guy, and also renewed
my affection for the region in New York where I grew up. If someone had
forecast this chapter of my life, I would never have believed it. I am
